In spontaneous meditation we look beyond the traditional objects of meditation—images, words, postures and body sensations—focusing, instead, on the flow of our true nature. Mystics in the world’s religions speak of this kind of spiritual practice using various terms: Infused Contemplation (Christianity), Natural Yoga (Hinduism), Formless Meditation (Buddhism) and The Effortless Path (Sufism), to name a few.
During this non-dual meditation, we immerse ourselves in the silence of being, allowing its current to draw us home to itself. If prayers, chants or postures arise, they come naturally, as blessings from the luminous love within.
